Nanay Online: "How does your child resemble his father"

For this week's topic

The moment Xian is born they say that in the physical department he is my mini version, well except that he's a boy. He got my eyes, my nose, my lips, my color, my hair, just about everything. The only thing he got from his dad way back is his height because he's a big baby when he was born. Here's my little one when he's just two months old together with my baby picture.

Yessss, that's me in the picture. See? we're literally pinagbiyak na bunga at first.But wait, that was 2 years ago and we're talking about his resemblance to his father,not ME.

As the days, weeks and months pass by, the one I used to think as my mini-me is slowly transforming into his daddy's mini version not just physically but also a lot from his dad's personality. He instantly became Allan Liit (Little Allan). He definitely got his daddy's sense of humor.There's no dull moment when I'm with them, they both have this facade of a serious person if you don't know them personally,but the moment they smile and laugh, they're actually a playful duo.

Xian is also fascinated with cars and basketball, car-related stuffs excites them both. these two boys loves watching cartoons.Xian is also good in terms of his dancing skills which he obviously got from daddy.

In terms of attitude,Xian got his dad's trait of being malambing. He loves to hug and kiss and always say "love you" as his form of affection. Ever since our college days, my husband is the type of guy who like to write simple notes and love letters for me. There was a time when he borrowed my book and when he returned it I found note/love letter inserted on it. Simple things like that,yet I find it sweet.

When people see Xian and spend time with him they often tell "Kabait naman ni Xian.mana sa ama" kakalokang comment! it doesn't mean that i'm not mabait, it's just that hubby is a lot more mabait than me.haha! He also got a chunk of kulit factor from his dad as well as his mood of being impatient sometimes.There are a lot more things which he got from his dad which really makes Xian a daddy's boy, he loves to imitate his dad.They're my life's perfect duo.
