Who Wants Goto? This is the Place to Be.

I received a text from hubby one Saturday that he's going to pick me up at the school where I'm working since we also have some important things to attend to on that same day after my half day of office work (yep,we have work every Saturday too, that's the downside of working in the academe)

We had our lunch first at hubby's favorite "gotohan" 10 minutes away from Lipa Proper called Gotohan sa Barangay. Actually, this place is well-known for having the best tasting Goto in town and they were already featured in some regional magazine shows. After all,they've been in the business for 30 years already.Because the parking lot is small, some of the customers just parked their cars at the highway including ours just to have a taste of their "goto". Growing up in Batangas, “goto” is one of our province well-known local dish. We discovered about this place 4 years ago and since then, this became one of hubby's fave place.

As soon as we enter,there's also no available table at the ground floor that's why we opted to occupy the second floor which I like, because of the fresh air plus it's not crowded unlike at the ground floor. This gave me the chance to take some pics of their simple yet homey feeling "gotohan".

hmmm... hubby's still thinking what to order.

Some of their famous menu includes Homestyle Fried Chicken, Sizzling Grilled Tuna, Sizzling Seafoods, Seafoods Curry, Crispy Pata, Caldereta, Inasiman, Rambugis, Severasky, Braised Litid and their wide-ranged of Goto menu and snacks at a very affordable price.

Because we're hungry already,we order Goto Mien and Sizzling Pusit plus extra rice (PG mode) hehe!

Goto Mien (soup containing beef tripe,egg and noodles) served hot which goes very well with...
